We have a joint meeting once per quarter in March, June, September and December at the church. All joint meetings begin at 7:00pm except the December meeting which begins at 6:30pm.
Our purpose is to grow as Christian women. We are involved in Bible study, Projects and Fellowship. In 2007 we started the Prayer Shawl Ministry which has resulted in the distribution of over 50 blessed shawls and blankets. We are also have quarterly outreach projects such as donating Christmas gifts for our youth to take on their Appalachia Mission Trip for underprivileged children. W e have also collected waiting room items for the children of Hospice patients and have made baskets filled with baby items such as crocheted blankets which we donated to the Pregnancy Crisis Center. In the 4th quarter of 2007 we collected items for abused women and their children at "My Sister's House" shelter. We are always looking for new projects.
